Dillon Aero is seeking to hire an experienced Aircraft Quality Inspector. We hire into a

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Quality Inspector will perform assigned inspections on aircraft, systems,
and articles IAW appropriate technical data. The inspector will initiate and close out inspection
packets for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, Annual Inspections, Condition Inspections, and
Progressive Inspections.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Chief Inspector
  • Completes all assigned tasks in a timely fashion
  • Performs various inspections and associated FAA and company records
  • Assists in the performance of flight operations including: Ground handling, marshalling, and
    fueling operations
  • Assists in the maintenance of ground support equipment, tools, test equipment, and facilities
  • Manages company calibrated items
  • Familiar with and ensures compliance with appropriate FARs, Technical Data Packages,
    Manufacturer’s instructions, Dillon Aero policies, and best practices
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Ability to learn and perform supervisors’ job in his absence
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must possess the following skills and characteristics;

  • FAA A&P Certificate
  • FAA Inspection Authority (IA)
  • Corporate or military jet experience
  • Corporate or military rotor craft experience
  • Five years’ experience or appropriate combination of education and experience
  • Ability to analyze work situations and resolve issues with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in restricted areas and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to use a computers and MS Office applications
  • Work well with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Sheet metal (structures) technician
  • Avionics technician
  • Ejection Seat/canopy maintenance experience
  • Experience with some or all of the following aircraft (or civil equivalent):
    • Bell 407
    • Bell OH-58A/C
    • Bell UH-1H
    • MD500 Series
    • Pilatus PC-7
    • T-33
    • T-34
    • T-38

Pay and Benefits:

• Salary will be commensurate with experience ($35-$45 per hour)
