Dillon Aero is seeking to hire an experienced Aviation Maintenance Professional. We hire into a family atmosphere and are looking for the right fit for this exciting, full time, long term position.

Job Summary:

Airframe and Power plant Mechanics (A&Ps), AKA Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on company aircraft and ground support equipment. Primary role will be as jet mechanic, however, the candidate will also work on piston airplanes and turbine powered rotorcraft.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Reports to the Lead Mechanic
  • Completes all assigned tasks in a timely fashion
  • Performs flight operations including: Ground handling, marshalling, and fueling operations
  • Maintains ground support equipment, tools, test equipment, and facilities
  • Performs scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, inspections, services, repairs, and alterations, overhauls to airframe, power plant, avionics, instruments, systems and components to ensure airworthiness in a safe and timely manner
  • Familiar with and ensures compliance with appropriate FARs, Technical Data Packages, Manufacturer’s instructions, Dillon Aero policies, and best practices
  • Completes aircraft records as required
  • Maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • Ability to learn and perform supervisors’ job in his absence
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicant must possess the following skills and characteristics;

  • FAA A&P Certificate
  • Corporate or military jet experience
  • Five years’ experience or appropriate combination of education and experience
  • Ability to analyze work situations and resolve issues with a minimum of supervision
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
  • Able to climb ladders and stairs, work in restricted areas and lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Must be able to use a computers and MS Office applications
  • Work well with a team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • FAA Inspection Authority (IA)
  • Sheet metal (structures) technician
  • Avionics technician
  • Ejection Seat/canopy maintenance experience
  • Experience with some or all of the following aircraft (or civil equivalent):
    • Bell 407
    • Bell OH-58A/C
    • Bell UH-1H
    • MD500 Series
    • Pilates PC-7
    • T-33
    • T-34
    • T-38

Pay and Benefits:

  • Salary will be commensurate with experience ($30-$40 per hour)
